American artist Kendrick Lamar takes the global stage once again for The Big Steppers Tour.

Multi-Platinum, Grammy-award winning artist and co-founder of creative imprint pgLang, Kendrick Lamar, has achieved massive critical and cultural success since his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city released in 2012. Since its release, Lamar has accumulated a staggering total of 14 Grammy wins, and became the first non-classical, non-jazz musician to win a Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album DAMN. Lamar’s latest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, was released in May 2022 immediately earning rave reviews.

Many have experienced the goals, songs, performances and magic since the opening ceremony in 1989. Over 25 million visitors, actually. When David Bowie and Whitney Houston were on stage, when Sweden won the World Cup in ice hockey or when the Pope held a Mass.

On May 19, 2021, the arena was named Avicii Arena – not only a tribute to one of the greatest Swedish artists of our time, but the iconic building is now also a symbol and hub for initiatives focused on young people’s mental health.
