Färgfabriken Tove Kjellmark

In the autumn of 2022, the separate exhibition Hästen, roboten och det omätbara (The Horse, the Robot and the Unmeasurable) by artist Tove Kjellmark opens.

Färgfabriken has, since its founding in 1995, served as a platform for contemporary cultural expressions, with an emphasis on art, architecture and urban planning. By working experimentally and across borders Färgfabriken create conditions for new thoughts, knowledge and art.

Exhibitions

Tove Kjellmark is a sculptor who has developed a versatile and experimental practice where she moves freely between different media and materials. Her work is both physical and conceptual. It places itself in the glitch between the digital and the organic, the past and the future. The exhibition presents a collection of newly produced works in hybrid sculptures, video, drawing and a symbiotic performance in the form of a six-week uninterrupted movement where the artist draws together with his robots. Works that seek the immeasurable, question habitual thought patterns and reflect on the dissolution of bodily boundaries such as the movement between life and death.
