South Korean-American Eric Nam grew up in Atlanta, but his career has taken on a South Korean twist – as a songwriter, K-pop artist and host. He has managed to become something of a veteran in his field. The 34-year-old put aside his career in economics when he made his breakthrough after participating in a South Korean talent competition in 2012. His participation in the competition had been preceded by his uploading a YouTube clip that attracted much attention. Eric Nam’s music is filled with airiness and pop pathos. Slickly produced K-pop pieces as light and breezy as the wind.
